Erik represents clients in a wide variety of cases in both state and federal courts. As a former Common Pleas Court Judge, Erik understands client needs better than most attorneys and crafts solutions to prevent litigation as well as successfully win cases. Erik focuses his considerable experience and talents on achieving client goals both in and out of the courtroom. In addition to his active legal practice, Erik serves as an Assistant Prosecutor and Chief Appellate Prosecutor for the City of Vandalia. He also serves on numerous community boards and causes including serving as lead attorney for the Wills for Heroes and Wills for Veterans programs.
Erik has repeatedly been named an Ohio Super Lawyer (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), was recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), and was selected by the Dayton Business Journal in 2014 as a Forty under 40 award winner.
